  6. ‚Ä¢ 1.0    (1992)  Initial release of ScrapIt
  7. ‚Ä¢ 1.1  Fixed problem with pasting non-styled text.    
  8. ‚Ä¢ 1.2  Fixed Find problem.
  9. ‚Ä¢ 2.0    (8/10/94)  Added new features (new thumbnail list, pop-up scrap type, new import capabilities, printing of PICTs and TEXT items now supported, Files popup menu, QuickTime‚Ñ¢ Movie Support, etc.).
  10. ‚Ä¢ 2.01    (11/15/94)  Fixed bug that reared its ugly head only after Apple‚Äôs SimpleText application decided to put 2 copies of the same TEXT onto the clipboard! I hate it when that happens!
  11. ‚Ä¢ 2.02    (11/28/94)  Another minor fix (with printing).
  12. ‚Ä¢ 2.03    (12/2/94)  Fixed major System 7.5 bug!
  13. ‚Ä¢ 3.00    (12/28/94)  Major upgrade, added sort, import multiple, new interface, print list or thumbnail list of entire scrap file, and more!  Changed name from ScrapIt ][ DA to ScrapIt Pro.
  14. ‚Ä¢ 3.10    (1/16/95)  Added Drag & Drop support, speeded up pict scrolling and fixed a few bugs along the way!
  15. ‚Ä¢ 3.11    (1/19/95)  Fixed a bug that would sometimes show up if you had a picture showing and would switch views. I hate when that happens!
  16. ‚Ä¢ 3.12    (1/23/95)  Fixed minor scrap item name bug that would not save the scrap items name after editing a text item in certain circumstances.
  17. ‚Ä¢ 3.2    (2/7/95)  Fixed bug found when running After Dark‚Ñ¢ and System 7.5, also fixed a bug that wouldn't show the scrap files available upon startup in certain circumstances.  Added new registration dialog to allow filling out the form from within ScrapIt Pro. Also added the ability to search through scrap item names.
  18. ‚Ä¢ 3.3    (3/1/95)  Added these features; Speech Manager support, Sound recording, changeable background colors, type priority.
  19. ‚Ä¢ 4.0    (5/27/95)  Major upgrade, ScrapIt Pro is now an application! Can now open multiple documents. Each scrap file can have it‚Äôs own characteristics such as color, type priority, sorting, etc.
  20. ‚Ä¢ 4.01    (5/29/95)  Fixed a minor bug that would not allow you to scroll a picture if the option ‚ÄúOption-click to drag & drop‚Äù was not checked in the preferences dialog without holding down the option key. 
  21. ‚Ä¢ 4.1    (7/7/95)  Added View menu for available windows, added a lasso tool for picture selection, added new font sizes, added the files pop-up menu to each window, also fixed a problem that would occur in rare circumstances if there were a power outage while a scrap file was opened that had been changed, the file could become corrupted.
  22. ‚Ä¢ 4.2    (8/11/95)  Added better QuickTime‚Ñ¢ support, a slide show option, full alias support for scrap files, allowed more text to be selected for speaking, fixed the bugs with multiple monitors, fixed the picture selection problem (it wouldn't allow you to copy larger portions of pictures without complaining), fixed the option-click rearrange bug and speeded up startup.  Also, credit cards (VISA & MasterCard) are now accepted for payment of registration via FAX, email and standard mail!
  23. ‚Ä¢ 5.0    (1/5/96)  Major upgrade!  PowerMac & 680x0 native code!, Much faster start-up, Searchable comments for each item, QuickDraw 3D file support, Full ArchiCAD support, Search & Replace, Scrap File merge, Better importing capabilities, Import/Export GIF, JPEG, QuickDraw 3D & EPSF files, View GIF, JPEG & QuickDraw 3D items!, Stretchable list, Can now sort by date, Windows are more user customizable (hide the palette, scroll bar and stretch the list), Can now edit names in the lists, Gallery mode and more!
  24. ‚Ä¢ 5.01    (1/24/96)  Several bug fixes (gallery mode bug when sorting by date or type, now checks for QuickTime‚Ñ¢ support properly on a PowerMac). Added Disable QuickDraw 3d option.
  25. ‚Ä¢ 5.1    (3/6/96)  PowerMac/Speech Manager bug fix (had a problem starting on PowerMacs if an older version of the Speech Manager was installed). Added the ability to import TEXT resources from any file, can now import items from Now Scrapbook‚Ñ¢ files and can import/export TIFF files.
  26. ‚Ä¢ 5.11    (3/9/96)  Fixed a bug (if you tried to change a window's color, ScrapIt Pro would crash.  I hate it when that happens!).
  27. ‚Ä¢ 5.12    (3/10/96)  Fixed another bug (couldn't change a window's color).
  28. ‚Ä¢ 5.13    (6/21/96)  Fixed a System 7.5.3 bug that would not save some item names.  Also, changed my address and updated registration application.
  29. ‚Ä¢ 5.2    (11/21/96)  Edit more than 32k of text, export multiple items at one time, new text options (like uppercase & lowercase), import Claris Emailer files, open a QuickScrap file, Import/Play QuickTime sounds.
  30. ‚Ä¢ 5.21    (11/28/96)  Bug fix, a windows tool bar would sometimes not be visible.
  31. ‚Ä¢ 5.22    (11/28/96)  If you have QuickDraw 3D installed, but not the QuickDraw 3D viewer extension, earlier versions would sometimes crash, has now been fixed.
  32. ‚Ä¢ 5.23    (12/5/96)  Can now launch URL's by command-clicking if you have Internet Config installed.
  33. ‚Ä¢ 5.24    (1/16/97)  Fixed a bug that would happen on multiple monitor systems where the tool bar and thumbnails would not appear.  Also fixed a bug that would not display certain GIF files.
  34. ‚Ä¢ 5.3    (3/11/97)  Added PlugIns to allow for easy expansion to support more file types.  Added new text options (Capitalize Words & Sentences).  Can now option-click gallery mode icon (or menu choice) to minimize the window to the size of one gallery item!
  35. ‚Ä¢ 5.31    (3/11/97)  Fixed a bug that would not allow non-PowerPC Macs to display QuickTime movies or JPEG pictures.
  36. ‚Ä¢ 5.32    (3/20/97)  Fixed color problems on some 68k macs.  Also fixed a problem with GIF files display in the Types menu.
  37. ‚Ä¢ 5.33    (3/23/97)  OK, I got it this time!  The color problems have been fixed (still was a problem when running in 16 colors or less).
  38. ‚Ä¢ 5.4    (9/8/98)  New features, bug fixes and lots more!  Added forms capabilities so forms can be filled in directly on the screen!  Also, many interface updates like; multiple item selection (for printing, playing sounds, deleting, exporting, etc.).  When playing sounds, importing, exporting, etc., can now put ScrapIt Pro in the background and go on with other tasks.  Contextual menus are now available (Control-click to access menu in a scrap file) whether using OS8 or System 7.
  39. ‚Ä¢ 5.41    (9/16/98)  Fixed a minor bug with form calculations on negative numbers. 
  40. ‚Ä¢ 5.42    (10/27/98)  Bug fix - sped up text entry when there are many items in a scrap file.  Also, now support QuickTime‚Ñ¢ movies without resource forks (flat file movies).
  41. ‚Ä¢ 5.43    (12/3/98)  Bug fix - fixed a problem with OS 8.5 if Kaleidoscope was running.
